Refund policy
No refunds outside of clearly fraudulent transactions or technical errors.
astrasync.shop is a production demonstration of the AstraSync verification gateway — a real merchant settling real-money digital purchases through Stripe at deliberately small price points ($1 to $25 USD). The point of the demo is that money actually moves; that's what makes it a verification of the end-to-end agentic-commerce flow.
Because transaction values are extremely small, the operational cost to a process refund (Stripe fees, time, dispute-handling overhead) materially exceeds the refunded amount in nearly every case. Issuing routine refunds isn't economically viable for this merchant and would compromise its role as a working demonstration.
Refunds are issued in two specific scenarios only:
- Clearly fraudulent transactions — your payment method was used without your authorisation. Contact us and we'll work with you and Stripe to reverse the charge.
- Technical errors on our side — you were charged but didn't receive the download link, the link didn't work, the wrong product was delivered, or you were double-charged due to a system fault. Email hello@astrasync.shop with your order id and a description of the issue; we'll resolve it.
All other purchases are non-refundable once the download link or fulfilment email has been served. Donations (DONATE-001, DONATE-005) are non-refundable on buyer's-remorse or change-of-mind grounds — they're explicitly donations to support the demo, not purchases of a product. Donations remain reversible under the fraud and technical-error scenarios above.
This policy applies equally to purchases made by humans and purchases made by agents on behalf of a user. The legal counterparty for refund purposes is the human account holder behind the agent (per the agent's PDLSS owner chain).
